Most of the 160 number errors deal with the cassette mechanism. If the cassette is not seated properly, the INFINITI will sense the miss alignment and ask to have the cassette reinserted. Sometimes there is a problem with the cassette that keeps it from properly seating and it fails the cassette test. The cassette test is initiated the moment the system draws in the FMS and tries to seat the cassette and then test the vacuum seals. The solution is to reseat the cassette by removing it totally from the cassette bay and make sure the area is clear of debris and salt.
If it consistently fails, try another cassette and if that cassette fails, the mechanism has an alignment or an internal fault that will require a service call.
